Johnstone's urge youngsters to get on the ball
Summer is here; the weather is warming up, and now has never been a better time for children across Britain to get outdoors for a spot of good old fashioned football fun. The Johnstone’s Paint Trophy is celebrating its fourth year of sponsorship by offering a number of mini-footballs for youngsters to win and play the ‘Beautiful Game’ with.
July 2009
Johnstone’s is encouraging scores of youngsters to get active as an alternative to computer games and videos over the summer holidays.
It is hoped that the balls – designed by Mitre and exclusive only to Johnstone’s – will encourage more children to keep healthy, as the football season is now over until August.
Youngsters in Burton, Torquay, Luton, and a number of children around Yorkshire have already received the balls and more will be targeted as the summer progresses.
Each winner will be posted a 20 per cent discount card for paint products at any Johnstone’s Leyland Decorating centre.
And a Johnstone’s notepad and pen set will also be sent to each winning entrant.
