Penalty Shoot-Out - Terms and Conditions

Terms & Conditions - Half Time Penalty Shoot Out Competition

1. This competition is open to UK & Ireland residents, excluding employees of PPG Architectural Coatings UK Limited or any of its subsidiary companies, their families, agents or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.

2. The competition will run between 21st February and 12th March 2011. No purchase is necessary for entry. Enter the competition at www.johnstonespainttrophy.co.uk or fill in an entry form at participating Johnstone’s or Johnstone’s Leyland Decorating Centres and Johnstone’s stockists.

3. Entrants must be aged between 9 and 12 years old to participate.

4. Only one entry per person is allowed.

5. The prize will consist of four standard tickets (per winner) to the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 3rd April. The winning entrant must be accompanied by one adult over the age of 16 years. Each winning entrant will be taken onto the pitch at half time for a penalty shoot out against the mascot from the opposing team. Each winning child will also receive a football strip from either Carlisle United or Brentford. Trophies will be presented to the children on the day of the Final. PPG Architectural Coatings UK Limited will not be liable for any change of date or venue or cancellation of the event. The prize is not transferable.

6. No cash alternative is available.

7. Winners will be expected to pay for their own transport and make their own travel arrangements in order to arrive at Wembley Stadium no later than 12 noon on Sunday 3rd April.

8. The winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received. The draw will take place at 12 noon on Monday 21st March. Two winners will be drawn to represent Carlisle United and two winners will be drawn to represent Brentford. The winners will be notified by the evening of 22nd March by telephone or email. The winners must be available to collect their prize and tickets from their local Johnstone’s Decorating Centre week commencing 28th March. One or two of the adults who will be accompanying the child to the final should also be present as they may be required to take part in post promotional activity i.e. interviews and photographs. The accompanying adult(s) will receive a full debrief on all the details relating to the Final on this date and it should take approximately one hour. The promoter will endeavour to work around winner’s schedules and schooling as much as is possible.

9. If the prizes are unclaimed or declined, supplementary winners may be drawn at the promoter’s discretion and notified by telephone or email. The promoter will not be responsible for any inability of the prize winners to take up the specified prizes.

10. The names of the winners may be obtained by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope detailing your request to the promoter’s address clearly marked: Penalty Shoot-Out Winners, Johnstone’s Paint Trophy, Huddersfield Road, Birstall, Batley, WF17 9XA.

11. The promoter reserves the right to amend or withdraw the promotion due to circumstances beyond its control.

12. The promoter accepts no responsibility for lost or delayed entries, notices, acceptances, tickets or other documents. No responsibility can be accepted for incorrectly completed entries.

13. This competition is not open to anyone who is subject to a football banning order.

14. Winners will be required to wear their new kits during the promotion in store week commencing 28th March, and on 3rd April at Wembley Stadium.

15. The promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

16. This promotion is governed by English Law.
