With stadium:MK chosen as a venue to host World Cup football and Paul Ince back at the club, MK Dons fans have every reason to feel cheerful right now.
All that they want is a repeat of their trip to Wembley in 2008 to add to the tangible feel good factor around the place.

Despite losing their area final first leg against Southampton, the die hard Dons fans are still upbeat about their chances of a return to the Home of Football in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy final, and are desperate to get there again.
The trophy means more to MK Dons than most clubs and having lifted it back in 2008, supporters know only too well what another day in the sunshine would do for the city.
Daniel Herriman-Mitchell, (pictured with Dad Garry,) said: “The final in 2008 was phenomenal. We went last time and we are desperate to go again.
“It gives the players confidence too and would mean a great deal to the club to lift the trophy again.”
Paul Lennox of Milton Keynes said: “The buzz that was generated from our Johnstone’s Paint Trophy win was huge. There were chances for us to get our pictures with the trophy and loads of other activities in the build-up, so we want to do it all again.”
David Beer (pictured with son Louis) said that lifting the trophy would be the perfect tonic to accompany Milton Keynes’ nomination as a World Cup venue.
“Everyone is on a high with our stadium announcement. It would be great if we were acknowledged as a World Cup venue with another win at Wembley.
“It would unite the city and give extra kudos to our club and stadium.”
David Brazier (pictured with sons Tom and Luke) added: “It was just fantastic the first time round. It was a great day out, we took 35,000 fans and we’d do the same this time.”
Darren Lyon (pictured with daughter Megan) said the Dons had a fantastic chance of getting to Wembley again, despite their first leg deficit.
“We’ve got every chance. I draw a lot of inspiration from our recent game against Burnley, when we were unlucky to lose against a Premiership side.”
And Peter Goldspink, (pictured with sons Alec and Stewart,) said he wouldn’t be missing a trip to Wembley again, if MK Dons are lucky enough to get there.
“We missed out in 2008 and I’ll be making sure we won’t miss out this time, but there’s a long way to go yet!”
Johnstone’s. Bringing colour to the beautiful game.
