Five players in line for Johnstone's ultimate finish award
Thirty two fantastic strikes in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy area quarter finals have been whittled down to just five, as the competition announces its shortlisted Ultimate Finish contenders.
November 2010
With an average of four goals flying in during each of the eight games played, the task of finding the five best efforts has not been an easy one.
But after much deliberating, the trophy can reveal that Ben Swallow (Bristol Rovers, Jordan Rhodes (Huddersfield Town), Therry Racon (Charlton Athletic), Ryan Harley (Exeter City) and Chris Clark (Plymouth Argyle) have made the grade.
From Wednesday November 17, supporters can view exclusive video footage displayed here on the website featuring the goals, with the most popular winning.
Voting closes on Monday November 29.
Whoever wins the Ultimate Finish will be following in some impressive footsteps, with Vincent Pericard and Craig Noone already winning the award for Swindon Town and Plymouth Argyle respectively, in rounds one and two.
The best goal will be announced on the website and all fans that vote for the same winning goal will be shortlisted into a prize draw. Each round, the winning goalscorer will be presented with a “Johnstone’s Paint Ultimate Finish Award” and one lucky entrant will win an iPod nano.
After the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Final, all fans will then have the opportunity to vote for the ‘Ultimate Finish of the Season.’
The winning goalscorer will be presented with a “Johnstone’s Paint Ultimate Finish of the Season Award” and one lucky entrant will win a fantastic Sony Playstation 3 console with latest Fifa game.
