The Johnstone’s Paint Trophy is being presented in a favourable light ahead of Sunday’s final, courtesy of two familiar faces from the world of television.

March 2011

Many fans may know Natalie Sawyer as the face of Sky Sports News, while Helen Skelton is a firm favourite on children’s classic TV show Blue Peter.

A lot less people will know that Natalie is a lifelong Brentford supporter, while Helen is a big fan of Carlisle United.

The pair met at Wembley Stadium this week to get the rivalry under way ahead of the fifth Johnstone’s Paint Trophy final on Sunday.

Natalie said: “It was great to hold the trophy and to meet Helen at Wembley.

“I’m confident that Nicky Forster and the lads will be lifting the silverware again come Sunday!

“We enjoyed a good bit of banter and it is a game that we are both really looking forward to.

“Both teams have worked extremely hard to be at the final and we are looking forward to a cracking game. I won’t be missing it for the world!”

Johnstone’s. Bringing colour to the beautiful game.
