The Johnstone’s Paint Trophy is hitting the road in the run-up to the final on April 3 with a whistle stop tour of decorating centres, schools and stockists around Brentford and Carlisle.

In an attempt to drum up yet more interest in the competition in the week leading up to its red letter day, the glistening piece of silverware will be available for fans to get their pictures taken with.
On Monday March 28, the trophy will be at the Johnstone’s Paint decorating centre on Port Road Business Park from 11am to 1pm and will then be at its Currock Road centre from 2pm to 4.30pm.
The trophy will then head south to Hampton Hill Junior School in Twickenham on Wednesday March 30th for young fans to enjoy, before then heading off to its nearby decorating centre in Hampton Road, Twickenham.
The following day, the trophy will be hitting the airwaves and making some headlines, taking a trip to the talkSPORT studios to see Alan Brazil and Ronnie Irani, before making the short trip to the Metro newspaper’s head offices.
From 1pm to 6pm, it will in the Builder Depot stockist in Station Road, New Southgate, for more supporters to savour.
And on Friday April 1 it will be at the Johnstone’s Decorating Centre on Oldfield Lane North, Greenford from 7.30am to 11am.
Sponsorship manager Teresa Hardwick said: “With a week to go before the final, we are doing all we possibly can to let supporters have one last look at the trophy before it is taken down to Wembley and adorned with ribbons.
“We hope as many people come along and make the most of the trophy, and pick up one or two discounts along the way.”
