Bristol Rovers are offering all under 16s who buy their ticket in advance the chance to come and watch the game against Aldershot for free.*
The club will also be running a special competition with local schools and offering a money-can’t-buy training experience to the school that brings the most children along to the game.
The winning school will receive a visit from Paul Trollope and a couple of members of his first team squad, who will spend the afternoon coaching their football team.
Rovers, who take on Aldershot in the second round of the cup on Tuesday, October 5th, have also brought the kick off time of the game forward to 7.15pm to allow more children to attend.
The match will not be all ticket for either set of supporters, and there will be reduced admission prices across the ground.
Bristol Rovers’ Director of Finance Toni Watola said: “We recognise the importance of attracting the fans of the future, and see this as a perfect opportunity for local children to enjoy a game of football for free.
“We have also brought the kick off time forward to make sure that the younger ones do not have to stay out too late – even if the game goes to penalties.
“We have not forgotten about the adults, as ticket prices are reduced throughout the ground, so we hope fans will come along as a family and enjoy an evening out at Bristol Rovers.”
Entrance to terraced areas and the BR Hodgson South Stand and South West Stand will cost just £10 for adults and £5 for concessions, while seats in the DAS Stand and the Uplands Stand will cost £14 for adults and £7 for concessions.
FREE TICKETS FOR UNDER 16s MUST BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE!
Tickets will go on sale on Friday from the club's two retail outlets, and adult and 65+ tickets will also be available online.
Season ticket holders with seats will have one week to claim their preferred spot before all unclaimed places will be made available for general sale.
