Brentford heroics earn fans a bounty of trophy discounts

Brentford’s ceaseless heroics in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy have earned their fans a bounty of paint discounts and free goody bags in a credit crunching revelation from the competition.

November 2011

The Bees’ 6-0 thrashing of AFC Bournemouth in the area quarter finals has qualified supporters for all manner of exclusive giveaways.

The trophy is honouring the most successful clubs of each round through its series of Just Rewards incentives, which Brentford can now lay claim to.

Following their huge home victory, the men from Griffin Park have qualified their fans for the following:

1. Team of the Round: Because Brentford have won the Team of the Round award for the area quarter finals, they have entitled fans to 40 per cent off all paint purchases.

2. Highest scorers: Free goody bags are being given away to Brentford fans whenever a purchase is made from their nearest decorating centre, thanks to being the highest scorers of the round.

3. Hat-trick hero: Mike Grella’s four goals against Bournemouth means fans can claim a free Johnstone’s Paint product whenever three other items are purchased.

All Brentford supporters have to do to claim their prizes is to click here and download a ‘Just Rewards’ voucher book, before redeeming the appropriate coupon at their nearest Johnstone’s Leyland Decorating Centre.

The Johnstone’s Paint Trophy goodie bag is available for all Brentford fans with any purchase of Johnstone’s, Leyland or Fat Hog products from any Johnstone’s or Johnstone’s Leyland Decorating Centre within a 20 mile radius of the ground.

Sponsorship manager Teresa Hardwick said: “We wanted to create an initiative that celebrates particularly memorable moments in the competition.

“Brentford’s thrashing of AFC Bournemouth was exactly the type of performance that we had in mind when we created this.

“To qualify fans for not one, not two, but three Just Reward giveaways is testament to Brentford’s achievements in the area quarter finals.

“We hope that supporters will get their hands on some heavily discounted paint and decorate themselves a lasting legacy of the performance itself.”

Johnstone’s. Bringing colour to the beautiful game.
