Fans of Swindon Town will have a rare chance to get up-close and personal with the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy ahead of their second-leg area-final clash against Barnet.
Fans of Swindon Town will have a rare chance to get up-close and personal with the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy ahead of their second-leg area-final clash against Barnet.
The trophy will be on display at Swindon’s Johnstone’s Decorating Centre, located at Unit T17, Equity Trade Centre, Hobley Drive, SN3 4NS between 2pm – 4.30pm on Tuesday 7th February.
Supporters will have the opportunity to have their photo’s taken with the trophy, while Johnstone’s are also offering them an official mini-ball if they wear their club colours whilst stocks last.
In addition, 19 year old Wales under 21 International Billy Bodin will be on hand to pose for pictures and sign autographs between 2.45pm and 3.30pm.
Fans will also have the opportunity to enter the Johnstone’s penalty shoot-out competition, to be in with a chance of taking half-time penalties at the Wembley final against ex-Wimbledon goalkeeper and FA Cup hero, Dave Beasant.
All fans have to do to enter is buy one of four selected Johnstone’s products - Acrylic Durable Matt, Flat Matt, High Opacity Matt or the new Endura Super Durable Matt – before texting their unique six digit product barcode to 82727.
Johnstone’s sponsorship manager Teresa Hardwick said: “Everyone at Johnstone’s is really excited about the impending fixture.
“Swindon in particular has played some fantastic football this season. They play exciting and entertaining football, which is this competition is all about.
“They have a difficult task against Barnet on Tuesday night, but I’m sure that both teams will go all out for their chance to play at Wembley.”
Swindon fans will have the opportunity to have their photo’s taken with the trophy and enter our once in a lifetime competition from 2pm on Tuesday ahead of the televised second leg.
