The competition’s most popular off-field initiative will be back once more for fans to make the most of, kicking off again when the first round action has concluded.
Following each round, supporters are asked to log onto the website and vote for one of the shortlisted strikes.
The goal with the most votes will be pronounced the winner and all the fans that vote for the same winning goal will be shortlisted into a prize draw.
Each round, the winning goalscorer will be presented with a “Johnstone’s Paint Ultimate Finish Award” and one lucky entrant will be chosen at random to win an iPod nano.
And to add a further incentive for fans, a Johnstone’s Paint Trophy goodie bag is available with any purchase from Johnstone’s or Johnstone’s Leyland Decorating Centres for supporters of the winning player’s club.
Fans are encouraged to pop into any Decorating Centre within a 20 mile radius of Ultimate Finish winner’s home ground and produce their ‘Just Rewards’ voucher which can be found by clicking here.
The goodie bag containing Johnstone’s Paint Trophy memorabilia is available with any purchase from the Johnstone’s, Leyland or Fat Hog range whilst stocks last.
Huddersfield Town star Jordan Rhodes won last season’s overall Ultimate Finish of the season award, after Torquay United star Danny Stevens scooped the prize the previous year.
Johnstone’s Paint Trophy’s sponsorship manager Teresa Hardwick said: “We are thrilled to announce that our Ultimate Finish awards are back once more.
“We launched our Ultimate Finish competition in the 2009/2010 season and it captured the fans’ imagination, so we hope that this season will be the same.”
Johnstone's. Bringing colour to the beautiful game.
